Dougla Gothic is a photographic project and speculative archive rooted in Trinidadian dougla poetics. It holds the long encounter between African and Indian presences through two figures: the Moko and the Apsara. Together they do not offer seamless union, but sit with friction, beauty, and the darkness already living there.
