Dr. Gerald Hinds is a 68 year old aspiring artist who works in acrylics.

I am a medical doctor having specialised in anaesthesia and intensive care. My schooling started in SanJuan R.C. proceeding to QRC and thence to UWI. My professional life took me to England where I ‘ doodled’ a bit Back home it was busy- family life and professionalwork. There was little time forother activities. 

In 2019 I retired from my job as consultant at EWMSC. Although I continued to work privately, I hada surplus of time. I asked my sister to find an art class for me. I began attending classes in Curepe under the tutelage of Ms Ann Marie Garcia. She has taught, guided and directed my work. She quietly guides child, adult, retiree and the disabled with skill and humanity. We students go there to do Art but we learn of God and life.. I continue to primarily work in acrylics and pencil sketches but have done some watercolouring
